*Full disclosure, I created this site to post the announcement of Josh’s passing (in March ’24) and I have (STILL!) not fully learned to navigate it, so please bear with me.

Here goes:

Mama to two adults and two homeschoolers. We are life-learners who generally prefer being outdoors (but can be found inside playing Catan on rainy days).
Writing things down is therapeutic to me and I have done so as far back as I can remember in the form of diaries, journals, lists…. Taking the words swimming around in my head and formulating sentences helps to keep my erratic thoughts streamlined, whether they be lists, observations, journals, or simply thoughts.
I am a minimalist at heart and love the nomadic got-all-I-need-on-my-back lifestyle. Born and raised in BC I love and appreciate all our beautiful province naturally has to offer, and find escape on trails, back roads, creek beds, and beaches. I’m not a fan of doing paperwork and unnecessary reporting (I rock at procrastinating when taxes are about due). God is our foundation, campfires are regular, mountainous terrain and coastal shores feel like home, and barefoot is my way of life:)
